Given the fires impacting our neighboring communities, we wanted to share a resource shared by United Way’s 211 program.

If you come across individuals who have been displaced from their homes due to wildfires, 211 has an agreement/partnership with Airbnb.org and can assist individuals access temporary stays for free.

Referrals can be made by calling 211 (this is the preferred method to not overwhelm the 211 line) or via Unite Us. Callers should indicate that they have been displaced due to evacuation orders. Information will be passed along to Elizabeth, the Disaster Response Coordinator at United Way, who will get the process started.
