Each session of this 10-week class focuses on a “dicho” or popular saying and centers parents as their child’s first teacher. Topics include promoting school readiness, family well-being, and advocacy, early childhood development, early literacy, bilingualism, early math, positive use of technology, attendance, civic engagement, parent leadership, goal setting, and planning for family success. Participants will also receive free dinner, child care, and $250 for participating in all 10 sessions!

This class is for parents/caregivers with a child ages 0-5 and parents under 30 will be prioritized for registration. This spring session will be in English, but we look forward to offering a Spanish cohort later this year, so please let us know if you receive interest from Spanish speakers as well.
