New Vistas staff distributed COVID-19 prevention supplies to the Hermit’s Peak/Calf Canyon evacuation centers in Las Vegas, Mora, and Taos Communities

New Vistas staff distributed KN95 masks, hand sanitizer, and cleaning wipes to the Hermit’s Peak/Calf Canyon evacuation centers in Las Vegas, Mora, and Taos this month to assist the communities impacted by this unprecedented fire event.  Program staff continues to work closely with Red Cross and FEMA teams to gather information needed to help those impacted by the fires.  Any community member with disabilities who has questions about applications or needs assistance with forms can call the New Vistas office to request assistance from our agency staff.
